John Falk – Rethinking the Museum Visitor Experience
John Falk will discuss a decade’s research attempting to answer three fundamental questions about the museum visitor experience. Why do people visit museums? What do visitors do inside the museum and why? And what meanings do visitors take away from their museum visit?
His new research is showing that the public’s entering identity-related visit motivations play a pivotal role in being able to understand and answer all three of these important questions.
Findings and practical implications of this new research will be discussed.

at de ikke altid er “den sammen, men har forskellige roller, og at deres besøg vil
variere alt efter disse roller.
